Dave, Ollie, or whomever else may be in the know,
A few of us were talking the other day, and we came up with some general questions for tires.
Which types of tires are you guys reccommending for this track?
Or either, what type of surface do you think it will be?
Thanks for any info in advance.

i think all of us are planning on taking every tire we have. we are going to pack the surface with a vibratory roller so it will be hard packed and should groove. there will be plenty of hobby shops there if you need tires.

I am thinking Hole Shots and Crime fighters, now I just gotta figure out MTR or LPR, has any truggy guys ran with MTR's and LPR's that were the same tread?
I'm looking for an unbiased review of the the different sizes and how they perform.

Hey Jon I am running LPR hole shots on my LST and there seems to be hardly any difference. As track for surfaces, They work great on hard packed of any kind. Real good foreward bite and not a lot of side bite.

Difference between MTR & LPR is what I talking about.

Ricky, are you using the stock foam on the LPRs? Cutting them any? Thanks.

I put them on and glue them, no mod on them.

In SAV I ran CrimeFighter LPRs (unknown compound) in the heats, but switched to some soft Panther Gator 38s in the main....wow...what a difference!

Alright, thanks for the feedback guys. I spoke with a fellow racer that is going to let me try some out this weekend. I am leaning toward the LPR's but I wanted to hear from you guys first.
Either way I go, Eddie at Full Throttle will get me rolling.

a guy at proline said that the pre-mount LPR tires were shipped out this past week , so far i have not seen them at any online or local hobby shops , and there coming in all three flavors at once (HS , CF , BT) .
