I've actually run on that track before. My company had our spring picnic there about a year and a half ago and I had brought my car to show a co-worker....didn't even know about the track beforehand.
It was fairly small....a little smaller then the bowl and pretty flat with a few small jumps. When I was there, it was getting overgrown with grass, like it wasn't being maintained. Would be interesting to hear what it looks like now.

It's really nothing. I went to look at it about a year ago. Just small amount of pipe laid right on top of the ground. Way too small for 8th scale. It would be considered a smaller 10th scale track. Completely overgrown. The drivers stand was either never completed or it fell apart.
The venue that it was built on would have been fairly good had everything been thought out better. The parking lot is 100+ feet away from the track and because of elevation differences, you cannot see any portion of the track from the parking lot. The track is on the same level as a sports field, so driving your trailer or vehicle up to where the track is would probably not be allowed because of the damage it would cause. The area allotted to the track is just a few thousand square feet, but a decent 8th scale track would need about two acres or more (for parking and the track itself.)
If someone were to plan it out correctly and if the park managers agreed, this would be a great venue for racing.

Andy and I went there to talk to the guy who started when he started. He invited us to help him out but the issue with the long distance from the parking lot wasn't to good. Plus the track was to small.

The park is a great place with many, many acres to work with. They just picked a place that was no good for what us 8th scalers do. Need a bigger spot with parking around the track.
