Okay John Tanner, Bronco 77, Hojazz, and Randy Parrot and other Monster Truck brethren, the Psycho Nitro Blast crew will likely solicit the services of some of you men to help in the initial rounds of vehicle tech inspections. Of all of the classes, Monster Truck is the one that will most likely have issues that will come up in tech and have to be resolved.

Keith, did not want to water the race down too much and add another unneccessary class. We considered (as a counter-point) about how less experienced drivers might get in the way of the more experienced, but the track will be so friggin huge that the problem is diminished somewhat. The heats will be re-seeded after two rounds, so half of the qualifying will be done where racers are racing among people who are about the same speed. Also another set of 45 minute a-mains and 30 minute b-mains extends what will already be a long and exhausting weekend by another hour and a half.

the OS 21 TM IS race legal according to RC Pro rules
rules state .20999 as the cut off so that means they round to the nearest 10 thousandths not the nearest 1 hundredth. To be in the big block class your engine must be at least .21000.

I am bummed because I spent 10 minutes writing a detailed response to you, Imjammin, but lost the whole goshdarn thing.
Okay, long story short.... At 400 entries, mains will take in excess of 12 hours. Then what? Shorten mains to let everyone go before 9 pm? No way. Here is what we do... instead of making any rash decisions now, lets get a bit closer to race day and see how it shakes out. The fact of the matter is that truggies get about 1/3 of the number of entries that buggies do. If this shakes out differently, and we are able to make time for the extra 55 minutes that it will take to run the mains because of the addition of another 45 minute a-main and a 30 minute b-main, then we will see. As it stands right now.... no. We will continue to monitor the situation and make any changes that may be called for.

Practice will not be controlled unless it gets completely out of hand. Being that the practice period is 24 hours long and that it starts really early (7 am) we are hoping that there will not be an intense rush for pre-race practice as so many other events have. Qualifying will be separate, just as any where else..... example: all pro buggy first, then monster truck (or whatever) and on and on.
