For those of you that may not know, Mr. Benny Smith has a nice track in his backyard. He asked me to spread the word about it to the Georgia R/C racers. It's been a year or so since I've been able to get over there, but every time I've been he's had a nice layout. You can see some pics of one of the pervious layouts here: www.philbone.com/Buddy/Benny/Benny.htmHe said he would be practicing most days this week. I'm going to try and get over there this Saturday and take some pics of the new layout. For more information on the track, check Mr Benny’;s profile: garcracers.proboards106.com/index.cgi?action=viewprofile&user=bennysmithThanks, Phil

Thanks Phil, I really appreciate this. Hope to have pics up by next week. I can not hold races here, but you can practice. There's someone here running about every weekend. New Driver's stand is 10' high at where you stand, will hold about 12 or more drivers with room. Track has 2 different types of whoops, off camber turns, series of jumps, 2 table tops, different elevation changes, jumps big & small, nice straight away with a long sweeping turn, short sweeping turn, tight turns. Track is at 559 Flowing Well Rd, Leesburg, Ga.

If it stays dry tomorrow I'll go take some good pictures, all I have now are some crappy photos from my phone. Hopefully the 2.5 inches of rain today didn't damage last weekends hard work to bad.
I thought I might be able to run this week, but when my parts arrived I was a servo saver short, and needed to get some wheel bearings as well. I need to quit abusing the old T-maxx like I do! Good news is, next weekend I'll be sporting my new E-Maxx.
Benny, you need to go ahead and order your Baja, I ordered mine Wednesday, and I think Nate is going to by Paco's RTR.

Hey Tim Sorry for the late reply. The track still looks good from all of the hard work you guys did. Please let me know about the pictures, my other source for my pictures is out of town this week, if you can help that would be nice. I told David if all of you want to build a 1/5 scale offroad track behind the other track , you can. I hope I can get me a Baja soon. Thanks Benny

This weekend Smokey and Rico helped Benny repair the the track by widening some of the jumps before the front straight, and put some clay down in the back of the track to help give a little more traction than the loose sand.
I broke my T-maxx and 2 mini's Saturday, but hope to have everything running by next weekend. I just ordered a crapload of parts to repair everything...luckily everything was pretty inexpensive.
Some of you need to make plans to come out next weekend. It's good free fun. Plenty of time for everyone to run what they brung, Monster Trucks, buggies, truggies and even mini's. (I might have my new RC18B FT complete w/ mamba power together by then)
Where else can you come to a track like this and play for free.
